TrueClays is a state-of-the-art clay shooting simulator, made for clay shooters by clay shooters. It is used by elite athletes, coaches, clubs and enthusiasts to build real, transferable shooting skills — without firing a single live shot.
TrueClays detects every shot in real time, calculates the ballistics, flies the pellets and breaks the clay in about the same time as on a real range. Because the target breaks from the actual point of impact, the fragments fly the way they would outdoors — and your brain starts learning from them after only a few shots.
Real ranges are modelled in the simulator, with wind, cartridges, chokes and authentic thrower sounds, so you can prepare for a competition in the environment you will shoot it in.

Some still claim laser-based systems can't be accurate. TrueClays shot detection reaches approximately 0.1 pixel precision — in real time, on fast-moving targets.

Training and Beginners corner

Tracker — barrel analyzer

trackernvtNVT — Neurologic Visual Training
A TrueClays invention that trains the shooter's "software" — the brain. NVT turns the target from a streak into a hidden zone and then a sharp focal "pop", forcing correct eye movement and timing instead of reactive guessing.

30 milliseconds decide the shot
We have measured the difference between a good and a bad shot at as little as 30 ms of timing. NVT is deliberately a little harder than the range — train against the harder version, and the range feels easier.

Training alone? The simulator holds your microphone closed while an imaginary squad of up to 6 takes its turns. You train the wait, the cold mount and the first target after a pause — where competitions are won or lost.

A classic discipline, recreated. Birds are released from boxes in front of the peg, and an AI flight engine makes every one different: they flush into the wind and break with it, some stay low and run late for the boundary, some sit before they go, and a rare one wheels back toward the shooter. A bird only scores if it falls inside the fence — and in a strong wind it can drift out on the way down.

An elite training solution for counter-drone (UAS) interdiction, built on the TrueClays engine and developed with international UAS taskforces. Operators train timing, lead, tracking and shot discipline against realistic drone behaviour — with shotguns and fragmented rifle ammunition such as 5.56.
